These are caps made using the same stitch. Its called 'Brick-Stitch' by the way the stichtes show on the cap. I loved the way it came up. I must say though, that the brick-stitch is more obvious in a 2 or more colour cap rather than a mutil-colour yarn as in the 2nd pic.
But I still loved making them both and adding a huge flower in the ladies cap made it even more exciting me for me. Although anything too out-of-the-usual makes me uncomfortable I do plan to give this cap a try! =)
